Geared security, a three-dimensional key and controlled duplication: Mottura 3DKey is a high-security locking system developed for security doors.

The lock uses an interchangeable geared core operated by the distinctive hexagonal 3DKey. The key has three coding surfaces and two desmodromic tracks, providing up to 10 billion possible combinations.

Key duplication is protected and controlled through authorised Mottura Club centres, with the ownership card and an original key required for duplication.

A major advantage of the system is the replaceable core: if keys are lost, the core can be changed to restore lock security without necessarily replacing the entire lock body.

At only 25 mm thick, 3DKey locks are dimensionally compatible with many common security-door locks and can be combined with dedicated Mottura Defender protection for 3DKey.
