Additional protection for armoured doors without connection to the mains. Mottura e-BLOCK is a Euro-cylinder lock system with electrically controlled rod locking, designed to increase door security and resist burglary attempts.

When e-BLOCK is activated, the electromechanical rod lock prevents rotation of the cylinder cam. From outside, release is controlled by a numerical-code keypad, adding an extra security layer to normal Euro-cylinder operation.

A key advantage of the e-BLOCK series is straightforward installation: the lock does not require connection to the household mains. Power is supplied by a 9 V battery integrated into the escutcheon, which is particularly useful when replacing or upgrading an existing lock.

The locking system is designed to increase resistance to burglary attempts, including attacks using liquids or acids. From inside, control can be provided by a dedicated push button, while the latch is operated by the handle.

Mottura e-BLOCK locks are available in three-point mortice and rim configurations for armoured doors with Euro-profile cylinders, with an external keypad for code release and versions with or without an internal push button.
