TOKOZ disc cylinders use stainless internal components and hardened-steel protection, creating a robust mechanism with high resistance to picking, bumping and drilling.

The use of stainless internal parts and hardened protection is also relevant against attacks involving acids or other aggressive chemicals. TOKOZ does not, however, state a specific acid-resistance certification, so this construction must not be interpreted as a guarantee of immunity to such attacks.
