One key, multiple access points and the level of control you need. Mottura special key systems organise the operation of multiple cylinders, locks and padlocks according to defined access requirements.

Configurations range from simple keyed-alike systems, where one key opens several locks, to structured master-key hierarchies for homes, apartment buildings, offices, companies, hotels and complexes with many rooms.

Available concepts include keyed alike, master key, group master key, grand master key, central key and construction key systems, plus specific Mottura solutions such as Armo/Riarmo, Vario, Tandem and Matic 1000. Availability depends on the cylinder or lock model used.

In a master-key system, authorisation levels can be defined so each user opens only assigned doors while a higher-level key operates multiple cylinders or groups. Central-key systems are particularly useful in apartment buildings, where one personal key can operate the user’s private entrance and selected communal doors.

Construction-key systems allow a temporary key to be used during building or renovation work and then invalidated when the final key is activated.

Planning a Mottura master-key system requires a clear access matrix and confirmation that the selected cylinders and locks support the required functions. For complex systems, define in advance which users must open each access point.
