Mottura Series 36 Astablock is a supplementary security system designed to lock the rods of a security-door main lock and add an independent layer of protection.

Series 36 is available with vertical locking or combined vertical and side locking, in surface-mounted versions and, for selected models, mortice configurations. The system can be configured for a Euro-profile cylinder.

When the main lock is secured, Astablock acts on the movement of the rods to create an additional independent closure. Correct model selection depends on the rod arrangement and travel of the installed main lock.
