Mottura Champions® PRO is a Silver Series europrofile security cylinder designed to provide mechanical protection, controlled key duplication and resistance to common manipulation techniques. This version is a double cylinder with external key operation and removable internal thumb turn.
Security and construction
Coding system: 6 coding pins; pins and counter-pins include hardened-steel anti-pick shaped components.
Upper profile controls: Aligned shaped upper control pins can irreversibly block the cylinder during picking or bumping attempts, preventing opening.
Side profile controls: 3 side profile control pins.
Anti-drill protection: Body and rotor are protected against drilling by high-hardness pins, spheres/pins and caps.
Key profile: Mottura MM profile with shaped-pin coding (+ − × /), also designed to protect against unauthorized duplication.
Anti-bumping / anti-picking: Certified/tested resistance; compliant cylinders carry the BKC marking on the label.
Anti-tracing: Protection against key tracing/impression techniques; TRC marking on the label.
Anti-snap shear: A controlled-break feature is designed to make the cylinder break at a specific point under a mechanical attack.
Cam: 30° off-centred cam rest position.
Certifications: Champions® cylinder certified to UNI EN 1303; PRO is ICIM certified and is also available in an A2P* version for the specified Mottura A2P lock combinations.
Finish: Brushed nickel-plated finish; brushed brass finish available on request.
Specific configuration

Quick glossary
Picking: Attempt to decode and operate the cylinder using picks or dedicated manipulation tools.
Bumping: Percussion technique intended to force the cylinder pins into an opening position.
Tracing: Key-tracing/impression technique; PRO incorporates dedicated controls to counter this type of manipulation.
Emergency function: Allows operation from the outside even when a key is inserted on the inside; standard on PRO thumb-turn and knob-provision versions.
