Mottura 72.779 Series 72 is a three-point mortise double-bitted lock for armoured doors. Series 72 uses a 25 mm thick lock case for installations where reduced overall thickness is required.
Configuration: three-point mortise lock, 4 turns, with reversible latchbolt operated by key and □8 handle square.
Technical data: case 188 × 123 × 25 mm; key and handle backset 64 mm; 4 shaped 20 × 14 mm bolts at 28 mm centres; 36 mm bolt travel; 20 mm rod travel; zinc-plated finish.
Latchbolt: reversible on the applicable versions and operated by key and □8 handle square.
Three-point locking: prepared for connection to locking rods; rod travel is 20 mm.
Supplied with: 3 double-bitted keys with 36 mm stems and internal/external escutcheons. Mortise versions use the dedicated faceplate/strike arrangement; other accessories are not included.
Handing: 72.578/72.579/72.778/72.779 versions are supplied right- or left-hand according to configuration.
