IKARO INSULATED MULTILAYER PIPE FOR CHILLED WATER
IKARO multilayer pipe has PE-RT/Al/PE-RT construction and is intended for plumbing and heating systems in residential, industrial and tertiary applications. The combination of temperature-resistant polyethylene and an intermediate aluminium layer makes it suitable for both new installations and renovation work.
This version is specifically intended for chilled-water systems. It is insulated with closed-cell polyethylene foam and a PE-LD film, with 9 or 13 mm insulation thickness depending on the selected combination.
The PE-RT/Al/PE-RT pipe retains the stated 10 bar and 95 °C ratings; the thicker insulation is the defining feature of the refrigeration version.
