The TDM Brass art. 1020 compression end cap belongs to the Series 1000 nickel-plated brass compression fittings for multilayer pipe and is designed to securely terminate a multilayer pipe line.
Series 1000 is intended for drinking-water distribution, sanitary and heating systems. It is designed for PN10 plumbing and heating systems with water and hot water, with a maximum allowable pressure of 10 bar and a manufacturer-declared operating temperature range from -20 °C to +110 °C. Fittings use CW617N brass in accordance with UNI EN 12165 for forged parts and UNI EN 12164 for bar-machined parts; parallel threads comply with UNI EN ISO 228 and seals with UNI EN 681-1:2006.
Pipe sealing is achieved by radial compression of the split ring and two EPDM PEROX O-rings; a PTFE washer provides dielectric separation between the aluminium layer of the multilayer pipe and the brass fitting. The range complies with Italian M.D. 174/2004 for materials intended for drinking-water systems and is DVGW certified.
Application: select the correct size according to pipe diameter and, for threaded versions, the required threaded connection. Installation must follow TDM Brass instructions and applicable regulations.
