Mottura 72.130 Series 72 is a three-point mortise double-bitted lock for armoured doors. Series 72 uses a 25 mm thick lock case for installations where reduced overall thickness is required.
Configuration: three-point mortise lock, 2 turns, without latchbolt.
Technical data: case 156 × 78 × 25 mm; key and handle backset 47 mm; 4 shaped 20 × 14 mm bolts at 28 mm centres; 18 mm bolt travel; 17 mm rod travel; zinc-plated finish.
Latchbolt: reversible on the applicable versions and operated by key and □8 handle square.
Three-point locking: prepared for connection to locking rods; rod travel is 17 mm.
Supplied with: 3 double-bitted keys with 36 mm stems and internal/external escutcheons. Mortise versions use the dedicated faceplate/strike arrangement; other accessories are not included.
Handing: the 47 mm backset Series 72 configuration is ambidextrous.
Spare parts and search: Mottura specifies lever set 91.184/123 for 72.578, 72.579, 72.778 and 72.779. The compact product code is also included in tags for easier internal search.
