TIEMME UNINSULATED MULTILAYER GAS PIPE
TIEMME uninsulated multilayer gas pipe belongs to the AL-COBRAPEX “TIEMME GAS” system, developed for internal installations carrying town gas, natural gas and LPG. Its yellow outer layer immediately identifies the pipe for gas applications.
The construction is PE-Xb/Al/PE-Xb: a butt-welded aluminium intermediate layer is enclosed between cross-linked polyethylene layers. This structure combines light weight and ease of installation with the dimensional stability of the metal core and reduced thermal expansion.
TIEMME specifies, for the pipe/fitting system, an operating temperature range from -20 °C to +70 °C and a maximum operating pressure of 0.5 bar. The pipe is manufactured in accordance with UNI/TS 11344 and the system is intended for use with TIEMME series 2650 press fittings following UNI 7129 installation criteria.
The pipe is supplied in coils and sold by the metre. The available combinations on this product page include 16x2, 20x2 and 26x3 mm sizes.
