HIDRONIX MULTIGAS MULTILAYER GAS PIPE

HIDRONIX MULTIGAS is a multilayer pipe specifically designed for gas installations with PE-Xb/Al/PE-Xb construction. The inner and outer PE-Xb cross-linked polyethylene layers are bonded by adhesive layers to an intermediate aluminium-alloy core longitudinally butt-welded using TIG technology.

The yellow outer layer protects the aluminium against mechanical stress and chemical or electrochemical attack and also acts as a UV barrier. The smooth inner layer helps reduce pressure losses, while the aluminium provides an oxygen barrier and limits linear expansion.

HIDRONIX declares MULTIGAS compliant with the requirements of UNI/TS 11344 for multilayer piping systems used to transport gaseous fuels in internal installations. The range is available in coils and straight lengths; protected 16 and 20 mm versions may use a high-strength polyethylene air chamber or a corrugated sheath.
